The highest hand in a game of poker is known as a high hand. A low hand is a low hand. Similarly, a pair of two cards with one higher ranking and two lower cards is a pair. When you play poker, you almost always use poker chips. If there are seven or more players, you should supply chips for each player. A white chip is the smallest and is worth five cents. A red chip is worth two, four, or five cents. Each player “buys in” by purchasing chips. Typically, everyone plays with the same amount of chips. This is known as a flop. However, a flop can occur in any position in a game of this type.

In Poker, players are usually dealt poker chips. These chips are worth a certain amount. The lowest value chip is the white chip. A red chip is worth ten or twenty-five cents and a blue chip is worth two, four, or five reds. The game begins when a player purchases poker chips. In most cases, they buy in for the same amount as their opponent. This is called a “buy-in”.
