affirmations

here are some things I am learning to say to myself
when I battle self doubt, exhaustion and overwhelm

it is acceptable to not feel okay

there are no wrong feelings

there is no one right way to be

things are hard and it is alright to admit it and ask for help and support

you are not less of a person if you can’t do it alone

you do not have to carry anything you don’t want to right now

when you are overwhelmed you do not have to look at anything other than what is in front of you right now

you do not need anyones permission to do what is necessary to look after yourself

imperfection is normal

you are enough

you do not need to compromise yourself to keep others happy

you do not have to change yourself to be loved

your needs and rights are valid

stand firm in defending your right to be yourself and have your needs met
